Soan Valley in the Potwar Region of is no longer a new name to the pre historians. In the Soan Valley, we have some of the earliest evidences of stone age man, claiming an antiquity of about half a million years. No human skeleton of that distant antiquity has yet been discovered, but the deposits of crude stone implements which falls within the geological sequence of the Pleistocene Period, have yielded valuables specimens.
Apart from its historic value they valley have some of the splendid water reserves Like Ochali, Khabeki and Jahlar Lake and fresh water springs, it is also natural habitat of wildlife which includes birds and other species, for the naturalist this is certainly a paradise on this earth.
