Day 01: Islamabad
Our guide and driver will pick you at the airport in Islamabad or Lahore and transfer to Hotel in Islamabad for overnight stay.
Day 02: Islamabad – Chilas
Early morning drive to Chilas it takes approximately 10 hours to reach Chilas from Islamabad, This day we will drive on the Karakoram High, which is the highest paved international road in the world. It connects China and Pakistan across the Karakoram mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, at an altitude of 4,693-m/15,397 ft as attested by both SRTM and multiple GPS readings.
Day 03: Chilas – Passu
Passu is the one of the most resplendent village Gojal Tehsil, in the upper Hunza region of the Gilgit territory in the deep in the Karakoram Mountain Range. Passu is a centuries-old historic town, with mountains, peaks and glaciers. It is a tourist spot and has many hotels, shops and a museum. Its altitude is 2500m above the Arabian Sea level. On the way we will pass through the Rakaposhi view point from where you can visually perceive and take a close up shot of the comely white show capped Rakaposhi Peak 7788m, after having lunch at the Rakaposhi view point we will perpetuate driving toward Gulmit. Arrive and transfer to the hotel for overnight.
Day 04: Khunjerab pass (Pakistan/China border)
Day excursion to Khunjerab pass (4693m) the border of China and Pakistan
Day 05: Day Hike To Borith/Gulmit
A day for facile trekking, exploring Ghulkin Village, Kamaris Village, Passu Glacier on the way to Passu Glacier you can withal view comely Borith Lake. Lunch at Borith and drive to Gulmit
Day 06: Gulmit – Karimabad
Karimabad is the capital of Hunza in Gilgit-Baltistan, northern Pakistan. Karimabad is additionally kenned as Baltit. It is designated after Prince Karim Aga Khan, the spiritual head of Shia Ismaili Nizari community. It is one of the most resplendent places in Pakistan and it swarms with tourists from all around the world during summers. It provides spectacular views of many resplendent mountains like Rakaposhi, Diran Peak, Golden Peak, Ulter Peak, Lady Finger, Hunza Peak and some others. This day we will visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort and Bazaar. In the evening we will drive to Duiker to visually perceive the view of sunset from there
Day 07: Hopper valley/Glacier
Day excursion to Hopper glacier
Day 08: Karimabad
Day to explore around, today we will visit Altit Fort, Baltit Fort, Karimabad local bazzar for shopping and in the evening we will drive to Duiker to visually perceive the view of Hunza and Nagar valley and the sunset on the mountains!
Day 09: Karimabad – Phundar
Drive to Phundar through the minute village on Karakoram Highway and Gizar valley, arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Day 10: Phundar valley
Day to explore the valley/ Day excursion to Shandur pass
Day 11: Phundar – Gilgit
Drive back to Gilgit, arrive and transfer to the hotel
Day 12: Gilgit – Besham
Drive back to Besham on Karakoram Highway (KKH) in route stop over at chilas for lunch and overnight at Besham hotel (approx. 9hrs Drive)
Day 13: Besham – Islamabad
Early morning we will drive to Islamabad, en-route we will visit the Taxila Museum. Construction of Taxila museum commenced in 1918, its substratum stone laid by Lord Chelmsford, viceroy of India in 1918. Construction was concluded in 1928 and the museum was opened for public by Sir Habibullah then the ministry for Inculcation. Sir John Marshall, who was going to be retired from the post of Director General of Archaeological survey of India in 1928, could not consummate its pristine plan. The regime of Pakistan constructed the northern gallery in 1998. There are 4000 objects exhibited, including stone, stucco, terracotta, silver, gold, iron and semiprecious stones. Mainly the exhibit consists of objects from the period 600 B.C to 500 AD. Buddhist, Hindu and Jain cults are well represented through these objects discovered from three antediluvian cities and more than two dozen Buddhist stupas and monasteries and Greek temples. Taxila Museum is located 35 km from Islamabad on the Grand Trunk Road to Peshawar. It is famous for remains of Gandhara art. Most of the sites at Taxila, dating back 600 BCE to 500 CE, are located around the Taxila Museum.
Day 14: Islamabad
This will be the last day in Pakistan; we will visit Faisal Mosque, Pirshohawa, Margala Hills and the local market for shopping. In the evening drive to the airport and destination.
