S.M.Bukhari’s Photography
Travelling is ostensibly one of life’s most enriching experiences. For some, the places they visit and the people they met define them. Whether you peregrinate for a more profound meaning to life or just getting away from rigorous realities of life, the ultimate question everyone confronted with is “where to go?” and for us Gilgit Baltistan is the ultimate destination. Indubitably Pakistan has got some of the most resplendent places in the world from the Lakes and Valleys of Azad Kashmir to the Heights and Apexes of Northern Areas.
Gilgit Baltistan is home to some of the highest mountains in the world, to be categorical: Himalaya, Karakoram and Hindu Kush. These mountains have the world’s highest peaks and the world’s most immensely colossal concentration of glaciers outside the Polar Regions.
